Hello there, my online nickname is Guicool, but you might find me as “Guicool138” or just “guicool”. I was born in 1992, and I had plenty of gaming on my young days. My first console was a SNES with Top Gear 2 and Donkey Kong Country being my favorite games.
My family got a PC later down the line and I got hooked into different games, like The Sims and Counter-Strike, which I played for ages. I continued having consoles, like the Nintendo 64, PlayStation 1, 2 and beyond. Crash Bandicoot 2 and Gran Turismo 2 are my all-time favorites, I can play them and never get bored.
Having a PC also got me access to Half-Life 2, another of my favorite games. For the most part I played FPSes, TPSes (love me some Max Payne!), GTA (post 3) and racing games. I wanted to try RPGs and commit into playing Dragon Age: Origins and Persona 4, both in 2008-ish. I loved both of them, effectively changing what I was going to play in years to come, as I added RPGs to the pot.
In 2011, Bethesda released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but with that, it came the Creation Kit, a modding SDK that allowed people to make tons of mods. With that ease of access, I started creating basic followers for the game, until the release of Fallout 4 in 2015 and its version of the Creation Kit in 2016, in which I developed my first big mod, Ellen, the Cartographer.
Life got a bit harder and I wasn’t able to do a follow up, then the pandemic happened, then I lost my job in 2021, got another in 3 months, and decided to play Koikatsu, as it has an amazing character creator. I made some releases there too, using Patreon(more explained in the link).
And now, I have Extra Activity repositioned as an independent game studio, as I have plans to make games, full ones, not just mods. I’m working on my first project, Project Redline.
